The Era of Artists LAB（EoA Lab)  – Project Leader KEISUKE SHIZUMA

The lab is a platform of artisits who are engaged in offering creative solutions for the well-being of communities particularly in such sectors as in health care, education of the disadvantaged children, rebuilding of depopulated villages and towns.
We believe that artists have the power to lead us into a new “Era”.

Keisuke SHIZUMA
Conductor

Representative of CREATE FUTURE MUSIC LAB. We value each individual’s individuality and thoughts, propose a variety of ways for musicians to continue their own expressive activities while contributing to society, and conduct various projects mainly in the fields of music and welfare.

Hideyuki HATAKENAKA
Left hand Flutist/Architect

A musician and first-class architect who aims to fuse architecture and music with the slogan “Architecture like music…Music like architecture.” After undergoing rehabilitation from a stroke, he currently performs using only his left hand.

Keisuke ARIMA
Left hand Pianist

A wandering pianist who lives in Art Village with unique artists. He also creates original music works in collaboration with other art fields.

Bandoneon player

A bandoneon player who transcends borders and delivers music to the world. They were quick to pay attention to not only real live performances but also web distribution, and are practicing a variety of ways to deliver music.

Yuki SHIDA
”Kimono” Pianist

After graduating from music college, he worked as a company employee before starting his own business. In addition to working as a business strategy consultant, he also works nationwide as a “kimono pianist” who weaves the hearts of Japanese people through sound and storytelling.

Masaaki NAGATA
Musician connects people

Trained a junior orchestra for seven years in a slum area in Cebu, Philippines. Currently, he is using his experience to work in a variety of ways to energize towns in Japan and around the world through music.
